La Tour d’Argent and Ruinart offer you an extraordinary evening to experience precious and unforgettable moments where the art of French hospitality will be expressed in the heart of a unique and sublime place.

A visit to the Crayères, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015 and classified as a Historic Site since 1931, is an invitation to discover the silent atmosphere that reigns in the cellars of the Ruinart House.

From the first descent of the stairs and into the labyrinth of immaculate vaults where thousands of bottles and precious vintages rest, you will be welcomed and guided through the spellbinding galleries of the Crayères for an aperitif in a spectacular setting.

This will be followed by an exclusive dinner imagined by our Chef Yannick Franques, one of the Best Craftsmen of France 2004, served in the Edmond Crayère.

This dinner will be orchestrated by our Maîtres d’hôtel, according to the ritual and the art of reception of our House and punctuated by the majestic visual and sound experience of the work “Retour aux Sources” created by the artist duo Maya Mouawad and Cyril Laurier. This work will aim to raise awareness of the impacts of climate change in Champagne.

The food and wine pairing imagined by Ruinart’s Cellar Master, Frédéric Panaïotis, and our Head Sommelier, Victor Gonzalez, will introduce you to exceptional vintages and rare bottles.

After dessert, the gala dinner will culminate in the wine cellar, a magical place hidden from view, where the Cellar Master will offer you a final tasting with the opening of a bottle of an exceptional vintage.

A unique site for a moment out of time

Founded in 1729, Ruinart is the oldest Champagne House. Elegance, know-how and delicacy are the key words of the oldest Champagne House. Among them, exceptional bottles preciously kept in optimal and rare conditions.

Dive to a depth of 40 meters and discover the spectacular medieval Crayères located under the historical property of the Ruinart family, built in the 13th century and used since then for the ageing of the bottles.
