On Thursday, December 4th, the Bar des Maillets d’Argent welcomes Thomas Racine and his Tommy Roots Trio for a night infused with New Orleans jazz vibes.

Nicknamed “The Drumming Man,” Thomas Racine is a key figure on the French traditional jazz scene. With his warm playing style, irresistible swing, and infectious energy, he embodies the vibrant soul of jazz.

He’s joined by two rising stars of today’s jazz scene — Mathieu Meyer on piano and Michel Pastre on saxophone — to revisit the spirit of iconic swing trios, in a format where dialogue, virtuosity, and groove flow freely.
