On Thursday, November 6th the Bar des Maillets d’Argent welcomes the Émilie Hedou Trio for a thrilling night of soul, jazz, and blues.

A true vocal whirlwind, Émilie Hedou delivers rare vocal power and a captivating stage presence worthy of the great American divas.

By her side, her long-time accomplice Nicolas Blampain brings sensitivity and mischief to the guitar, while the charismatic Hervé Pouliquen blends fiery double bass lines with spirited scat, all with infectious generosity.

Driven by three intertwined voices and a performance laced with touches of burlesque, this virtuoso trio skillfully navigates between original compositions and soulful covers of Nina Simone, Janis Joplin, Tom Waits, and Etta James.
