The 2024 Automnales !

La Tour d’Argent continues its “Automnales,” an exceptional wine sale. For this third edition of the Automnales, 300 mature wines are available at particularly attractive prices. By drawing rare gems and exceptional bottles from the depths of its legendary cellar, the Parisian restaurant La Tour d’Argent is reaching out to all wine enthusiasts: offering incredible acquisitions for three weeks from September 18 to October 13, 2024, exclusively online on the Tour d’Argent grocery website.

These Automnales follow the same principle as previous ones, namely making a representative sample of the cellar (which holds 300,000 bottles) available to wine lovers or connoisseurs. These wines benefit from an incomparable seal: purchased directly from the vineyard and brought to the Tour’s cellars right after bottling, they have peacefully aged in these legendary cellars under the most optimal conditions. The guarantees of provenance and conservation should catch the attention of wine lovers.

This selection of 300 wines offered at attractive prices includes vintages from the 1970s to the 2010s, now at their peak, and hand-picked by Victor González, the Head Sommelier of La Tour d’Argent. His selection for the Automnales faithfully reflects the restaurant’s cellar, which has long chosen Burgundy as its vineyard of choice: the region therefore dominates the selection, representing more than half of it, especially with red wines from Côte de Nuits and white wines from Côte de Beaune. Following this are 51 Bordeaux wines, among which a treasure trove of gems is offered at very attractive prices, from Sauternes like Doisy-Védrines and Climens 1988, Doisy-Daëne 2000, or Guiraud 2005, to red wines like Certan de May 1994, Poujeaux 1996, or Dalem 2000, including La Louvière, Fieuzal, or Smith Haut Laffite, for fans of Pessac-Léognan whites.

Other French vineyards are also well represented with wines all at full maturity: champagnes from renowned houses (Pol Roger, Bollinger, etc.), prestigious appellations from Northern Rhône (Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie), and some gems from Alsace, Languedoc, the Southwest, Corsica, or Provence, available starting at around thirty euros…
