Starting December 26th, indulge in the two delectable creations from the Boulanger de La Tour. From the traditional galette to the king’s brioche, sweet tooths of all ages will gather at Quai de la Tournelle until the end of January !
The frangipane galette from the Boulanger de La Tour remains true to tradition. Made with light and crispy all-butter puff pastry, it is filled with a delicate almond frangipane cream. The golden galette is also adorned with marzipan bearing the emblem of La Tour d’Argent. As every year, Vincent Boudgourd, the Maison’s illustrator, has exclusively designed porcelain figurines for this Epiphany. These little treasures pay homage to the craftsmanship of La Tour d’Argent, depicted through the iconic little duck of the Maison.
The Boulanger de La Tour also brings the king’s brioche to the table. A delightful alternative to the classic galette, it is no less indulgent! This sumptuous crown is divided into five brioche balls made with sourdough, generously filled with chestnut cream, topped with crispy meringues, and accented with blueberries.
With these two regal creations, the Boulanger de La Tour highlights artisanal expertise and a passion for traditional baking, perfect for starting 2025 on a festive note !
