Beaujolais Nouveau comes to la Rôtisserie d’Argent

On 19 November, La Rôtisserie d’Argent celebrates the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau in true Parisian bistro style: joyful, generous and, of course, with a deliciously cheeky spirit.

For the occasion, our Chef, Romuald Sinnan, has created a set menu at €75 per person (drinks excluded), with a choice of two starters, two main courses and two desserts, showcasing the great classics of traditional French bistro cuisine.

On the menu, eggs in a rich red wine sauce (œufs en meurette), duck pâté en croûte with foie gras and chestnuts, a slowly braised cockerel stew in red wine with mushrooms and steamed potatoes, or delicate monkfish prepared in the traditional matelote style. To finish on a sweet note, enjoy the generous, iconic praline tart or a pear gently poached with spices and red wine, served with vanilla whipped cream.

In the glass, Frédéric Berne’s Beaujolais Nouveau sets the tone for the evening. And to get the party swinging, singer Constance Arnaud brings the golden age of French chanson to life, from Mistinguett and Édith Piaf to Maurice Chevalier and Georges Brassens, with plenty of wit, verve and Parisian flair. Expect much-loved songs to sing along to, plenty of laughter and an audience soon joining in!

Delicious food, fine wine and irresistible melodies: Beaujolais Nouveau has found its home!
