Registration for the 7ᵗʰ edition of the Frédéric Delair National Trophy was officially launched on Thursday, April 3rd by André Terrail, owner of La Tour d’Argent in Paris and President of the Frédéric Delair Association. The announcement took place at the Metz Hotel and Catering High School and Training Center (Lycée et CFA Hôteliers de Metz), twice winner of the Delair Trophy, in the presence of the school’s headmaster Jean-Pascal Paillette, the two laureates of the 6ᵗʰ edition, Laura Felten and Anaïs Vandelannoitte, their teachers Sophie Andréoni and Jérôme Simon, as well as students.
This competition, supported by the French Ministry of Education, proudly bears the emblem of the “Gastronomic meal of the French, intangible cultural heritage of humanity.” It is held under the honorary presidency of Mr. André Terrail, who also presides over the organizing body, the Frédéric Delair Association.
This edition’s honorary patron is François-Xavier Demaison — actor, winemaker, and passionate gastronome — who will be joined by the iconic chef Pierre Gagnaire, a devoted admirer of the art of service.
The competition final will take place on April 2nd, 2026 at Médéric, the Paris School of Hospitality!
